Welcome to the Via Stoica community page. While we are on our individual journey, we are social beings. We truly thrive when working together and the Stoics advocate for this. Brice, Brendan, and Benny have been building this community for almost two years and we wish to invite you to join us. Below you can see the options.
X Spaces
What are X spaces? X (formerly Twitter), allows people to create live rooms to discuss any topic they want. These spaces are excellent community tools, as they allow for thought-provoking conversations. Brice, Brendan, and Benny have been hosting Stoic-related spaces for over two years now. Currently, there are three spaces planned weekly. You can find them by following any one of the three on X. (Just click on their names above)
The specific topics and links to the spaces are announced a day or two before the spaces are hosted. But below you can find the general schedule.
- The Via Stoica Space – Hosted by Benny: Every Tuesday at 11 am PST.
Here we discuss general life topics and look at them through a Stoic lens to find better ways to apply Stoicism and live better more peaceful lives. - The Via Stoica Space – Hosted by Brendan: Every Thursday at 7 am PST
Using the entry of the Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday, we kick off the conversation with a quote based on the topic of that day. - The Via Stoica Workshop – Hosted by Brice: Every Saturday at 11 am PST
During these workshops, Brice guides us through the ancient Stoic texts from Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus to Seneca, and more.
The Via Stoica Community
Find more continuous Stoic support in the Via Stoica community. Follow the ViaStoica account to stay on top of all the developments there. Or join the Via Stoica community on X here. In this group share your thoughts, and also request to join the DM group.
The level of support you can find there ranges from an individual touch to remaining more in the background. That is all up to you. But we are there when you need us.
Stoic Community Events
Via Stoica will host community events throughout the year. You can sign up for the newsletter to stay up-to-date on when these take place and where to join them. This page will then show a sign-up link to make sure you’ll get all the specific information.
